Leave the forest better than you found it. Take pride in your work. Make the right cuts, even if no one is watching. A tree with strong roots can withstand the most violent storm, but the tree can't grow roots just as the storm appears on the horizon. A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in. We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors—we borrow it from our children.
